Body Working Overtime and Its Effect on us
Body working overtime can have some serious consequences on our health and well-being. Here are a few of the most common ones:
1) Sleep deprivation. Working long hours can decrease your sleep quality and quantity, which can lead to fatigue, headaches, mood swings, and other problems.
2) Weight gain. Overworking your muscles can lead to weight gain because your body will be trying to compensate with more calories. This isn’t just a problem for people who are already overweight; even people with healthy habits can end up overweight if they work too many hours.
3) Increased susceptibility to illness. When you’re exhausted, it’s harder to fight off infections and stay healthy. If you work in an office where you frequently come into contact with sick people, this is a particular concern.
4) Decreased productivity. When you’re tired, your brain doesn’t work as well. This makes it difficult to think clearly and accomplish tasks, which can lead to decreased productivity at work and at home.
All of these consequences are especially important to consider when you’re planning on working extra hours in the future – if you want to avoid any Hormones, Diet and Weight Gain
The Kim Commando Show: “My Life, My Body”
In the past, I’ve talked about how hormones can contribute to weight gain and how diet can impact weight. But what about exercise? Can it also play a role in weight gain?
The answer is yes – although not in the way you might think. Exercise can help you lose weight if done in combination with a healthy diet and sensible hormone levels. That’s because when you exercise, your body releases a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol helps you burn calories and reduces your appetite. Plus, it helps keep your metabolism high so that you keep burning calories even when you’re not actively working out.
So if you want to lose weight, make sure to include regular exercise along with a healthy diet and sensible hormone levels.
